We have stopped publishing tech news on the web. The desk now writes TigerMedia — India's media-tech newsletter, covering streaming, creators and the business behind the screen. Free, every Saturday.
“The environment we launched into is not the environment we operate in today. Search and social no longer send readers to publishers the way they did even a year ago, and we would rather move early than spend years defending a model that is being eroded underneath us.
“So we are pivoting to the one relationship nobody can reprice or algorithm away: readers who ask to hear from us directly. A newsletter we own end to end, sent to people who chose it. That is a deliberate decision to build something durable rather than something dependent, and to keep this company standing for the long term.”
