Fixxly has raised $5.5 million in seed funding from Accel, Fireside Ventures and Lightspeed India Partners, the Bengaluru-based quick commerce startup for building materials said.

Founded in 2026 by Shezan Bhojani and Sachith Varma, the company will use the capital to build out its technology platform and scale operations before its commercial launch on September 1.

The platform lets contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, interior designers and homeowners order plywood, paint, electricals, lighting, hardware and plumbing supplies, with deliveries in as little as 30 minutes. Orders are fulfilled through local dark stores that match real-time inventory, proximity and demand.

Two Founders, Two Supply Chains

Bhojani co-founded DesignCafe, a home interiors startup that merged with HomeLane in 2024. Varma previously led supply chain design at Zepto and managed last-mile operations at Flipkart.

Accel partner Prashanth Prakash cited the pairing as central to the bet, pointing to fragmentation in India’s building material procurement market.

Fixxly will start operations in Bengaluru before expanding to other cities. The $5.5 million round is larger than typical seed-stage raises in India’s quick-commerce sector.
