Swiggy’s Instamart has appointed Nandita Sinha, former CEO of Myntra, as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective August 3.
She succeeds Amitesh Jha, who resigned on July 28 to pursue other opportunities. Jha exits Swiggy’s senior management on the same August 3 date. He had joined Instamart in August 2024 after leaving Flipkart, a two-year tenure that ends with the business scaled but its leadership bench thinner.
A Track Record Built On One Number
Sinha’s selection rests on a specific figure: Myntra reached EBITDA profitability in 2024 under her leadership and continued gaining market share afterward, according to HR Katha and CXO Digitalpulse.
Before Myntra, Sinha held leadership roles at Flipkart, Britannia Industries and Hindustan Unilever, spanning e-commerce, FMCG and fashion retail across more than two decades. Swiggy Group CEO Sriharsha Majety confirmed her appointment in an internal announcement.
Jha’s departure is the third senior exit at Instamart this year, though the identities of the other two were not disclosed in available reporting.
