Leadership Perspectives

Varun Kashyap, Co-founder of Zithara.AI, stated, "Ravi’s arrival marks a new chapter in our growth story. His engineering depth and innovative mindset align perfectly with our mission to build practical, AI-first systems that help offline-first omnichannel retailers thrive in the next era of AI-enabled digital world."

Co-founder Sridevi Reddy added, "As we expand from Hyderabad to international markets, Ravi will be instrumental in shaping products that understand the real-time needs of everyday businesses. Our vision is to bring intelligent engagement to the forefront—whether it’s a boutique jeweler, a neighborhood salon, or a growing retail chain."

Ojha’s Vision for Retail AI Innovation

Ojha expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "Zithara represents a rare and exciting opportunity to bring cutting-edge technology to sectors often overlooked in the digital transformation narrative. What drew me to Zithara is its bold yet clear vision—to place intelligent engagement at the core of everyday businesses, not just large enterprises."

He emphasized the company’s focus on grassroots innovation, aiming to empower jewelers, salon owners, and local entrepreneurs with AI solutions that are human, adaptive, and actionable. Ojha added, "As we build for scale, my focus will be on crafting technology that blends engineering excellence with intuitive design—products that are easy to adopt and make a difference right where it matters: at the counter, on the floor, and in every customer interaction."

The Growing Role of AI in Retail

The retail sector is increasingly adopting AI to enhance customer experiences and streamline operations. According to a report by McKinsey, AI could potentially deliver up to $2.6 trillion in value in marketing and sales across various industries. Zithara.AI’s initiatives align with this trend, aiming to provide local businesses with tools that were previously accessible only to larger enterprises.

Challenges and Opportunities

While AI offers numerous benefits, its implementation in retail comes with challenges, such as data privacy concerns and the need for significant investment in technology and training. However, startups like Zithara.AI are working to make AI more accessible and affordable for small and medium-sized businesses, potentially leveling the playing field in the retail industry.

Looking Ahead

With Ojha’s appointment, Zithara.AI is poised to enhance its product offerings and expand its reach. The company’s focus on AI-driven customer engagement solutions reflects a broader industry shift towards personalized and data-driven retail experiences.

As the retail landscape continues to evolve, the integration of AI technologies will likely play a pivotal role in shaping the future of customer interactions and business operations.
