Understanding the Shareholding Pattern

Neysa’s board allotted 1,11,532 Series A compulsory convertible preference shares at an issue price of Rs 20,430, along with 12,592 equity shares. This move raised a total of Rs 252 crore or $30 million. NTT Ventures led the round with Rs 75.67 crore, while Nexus Venture Partners and Z47 each contributed Rs 67.26 crore. Anchorage Capital added Rs 16.8 crore to the pot, with Sharad Sanghi investing Rs 25.22 crore in equity shares.

Neysa’s Valuation and Market Position

Post-allotment, Neysa’s valuation is estimated at around Rs 1,090 crore or $128 million. The conversion terms for Series A shares are set at 1:2, indicating a strategic move to enhance investor confidence. Despite not reporting operating revenue till FY24, Neysa managed to earn Rs 13.87 lakhs from interest income, showcasing prudent financial management amid its growth phase.

Neysa operates as an AI cloud and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) startup, offering products like Nebula for AI workload management, Palvera for network intelligence, and Aegis for securing AI/ML ecosystems.
