Flo Mobility Secures .5 Million to Expand AI-Powered Construction Robotics
Share

Flo Mobility, a Bengaluru-based construction robotics startup, has secured $2.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Mela Ventures and Arali Ventures. The new capital injection will enable the company to scale its manufacturing capabilities, enhance its AI and autonomy systems, and expand its deployment of autonomous robots both within India and internationally, with a focus on the Middle East. This development is significant as it highlights the growing interest and investment in technology-driven solutions in the construction industry, a sector traditionally slow to adopt automation.

### Flo Mobility’s Innovative Approach

Founded by Manesh Jain and Pratik Patel, Flo Mobility specializes in developing robotics and AI systems tailored for the construction industry. The company’s flagship product, the Flo Hauler, is a battery-powered autonomous robot capable of transporting heavy construction materials across complex project sites. Designed to handle loads of up to 1.5 tonnes, the Flo Hauler operates efficiently in unstructured environments, including uneven terrain and multi-floor projects. The startup has already deployed over 60 robots across 10 Indian states, collaborating with major developers like L&T, Godrej Properties, and Embassy Group.
